 1. My favorite good old 100%cotton T is Anvil 6.1oz.  It comes in about every color that you can think of. And the cut, quality and consistencey can't be beat.

 2. The next tier shirt is the Hanes Beefy T 6.1oz. They put a serious amount of money into their advertising campaign which directly effects the cost of the shirt. We have to charge $1.75 more than regular T-shirts to cover it.  But the quality is always perfect. And the cotton is specially ring spun which is what makes them really soft. Some folks want "Beefy" or nothing.  

 3. The High Tier is the American Apparel Tee. These shirts are 100% American made, fashionably fitted like those of brands like Abercrombie, and are also ring spun soft. They are $2 more than the regular T-shirts. We use them for our higher end retail line, HARPER SPORTSWEAR, which is geared more towards women. They are the best shirts you can buy without question. Just to give you a reference point, my wife just saw one for sale in a new boutique on Franklin Street with a $60 price tag. They are fitted for both the men's and women's so you may want to order a size up for the men who like a loose fitting T. Honestly I would get the guys Beefy T's and the girls American Apparrel for the best case scenario.
